Šaman´s kennel's Nordic Spitz

When hunting became one of the family hobbies, we bought our 15 year old son his own hunting dog as a birthday present in 1994. Šaman´s kennel's first Nordic Spitz are bred by Leo Tero, Tuulikummun kennel. Our first Nordic Spitz Tuulikummun Halli is a self-confident male, who knows that he is the head of his family. Of course we had to get a mate for Halli, so we fetched a female from the same kennel. Halli and Nätti are a little bit related to each other and their progeny are a little linebred. Nätti has been a superb mother and she has had three litters with Halli - a total of nine pups. Unfortunately one female was over driven by a car when she was two years, so only eight are still living. Two pups are only yearlings and their hunting abilities will be detected in the future. From the six adults we can say that they all work well with bird barking and also in hunting for the elk (a Scandinavian moose). They retreive the injured birds from the bushes left behind by careless hunters. When Nätti has not had own pups, which she loves above all, she has adopted our daughter's cats as her own pups. Today we have three Nordic Spitz in our kennel Halli, Nätti and a male from their first litter, whose name is Peni.
